Dorey Fish Farm

The Dorey family extends to each of you the invitation of sharing in the beauty, splendor and awe of our rural 320 acre farm. We have spacious picnic areas, Petting Zoo, Catfish Pay Lakes, an all you can eat Catfish & BBQ Buffet, a Banquet Room and ample parking. We operate concession wagons in Sheridan,  Fordyce and in Malvern click for details. We encourage you to load up your family and come sit with us a spell..

Dorey Fish Farm, Inc was established in 1984. Dorey's is completely family owned and operated. Our family includes: Carlton, Tudy, Our Daughter Carla. Our son Robin, his wife Lisa and our granddaughters Katie and newborn Robyn Elizabeth (Ellie).

Our son Tony, his wife Katie and our grandsons John Anthony and Lucas. Dorey's is a family enterprise of cousins, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and grands. Everyone pitching in when needed. This was especially the case when the family experienced the untimely loss of our eldest grandson - Heath William Dorey - in November of 2003. Thank You All! for your support and condolences.

We offer a 300 seat Restaurant open Thur thru Sat 4pm - 8pm. We serve fresh Farm-Raised Catfish "You can't get the Catfish any Fresher!", BBQ Ribs and a large selection of things good and tasty, take a look at our Catfish Buffet page for our full menu. Be sure to ask about our Senior Citizens discount. We also have Gift Certificates for sale.

The Pay Lake is open March 31st thru September 30th. We rent complete fishing equipment by the day. We sell bait, snacks and beverages. Our Pond staff this year has returned. Their goal remains "Your Comfort and Enjoyment". John & Virgil welcome you to prove otherwise.   No License Required!!!.

We feature a FREE Petting Zoo with Ducks, Geese, Swans, Goats, Peacocks, Deer, Llamas and various other Critters for the Children's enjoyment. Open year round!
